The Baulch Family Web Site Updates

When looking at a genealogy web site that remains of interest in one's research, it is important to understand WHAT changes were made WHEN changes have been made. The information that follows is a record of updates to this web site:

March 2002:

Enhanced description of property ownership for land on which Stone-Baulch Cemetery is situated.
Added identification of Nelson Baulch, Ernest Baulch, and James Baulch in photo 39 under Mary Bright Hunter Young's Loose Photo Collection.

April 2002:
Added identification of Hershel O'Dell and Henry O'Dell in photo 39 under Mary Bright Hunter Young's Loose Photo Collection.

February 2003:

Added 1840 census information for John R. Balch family.
Added death information for Wylie Brazzell.
Added possibility that John Balch was born in Ohio, based upon his daughter, Mary Catherine, reporting in the 1880 Census that her father was born in Ohio.

May 2003:

Based upon recent research at the Tennessee State Library and Archives in Nashville, TN and research in the 1920 and 1930 censuses, expanded family information for decendants of John R. Baulch and John Stone. Corresponding outline descendant trees have been updated accordingly.
Added burial information for several children of William Nicholas Baulch.
Added marriage information for Joseph Moccasin Baulch to Sadie Waggoner.
Added note to Stone-Baulch Cemetery web page regarding its restoration project underway.

September 2003:

Updated Stone-Baulch Cemetery web page based upon results of tombstone restorations.
Added information for John H. Duke on Stone-Baulch Cemetery web page.

November 2003:

Added information on Salem community and Salem Methodist Church from transcriptions personally performed.

February 2004:

Updated Stone-Baulch Cemetery with new pictures after restoration.
Updated Ancestors of Howard Baulch report based upon recent findings on Uriah Gibson's ancestors.

October 2004:

Re-designed web site to display research more effectively on all ancestors of Howard and Sally Baulch.

Added background of Howard and Sally.

Displayed four generations of ancestors for Howard and Sally with links to descendant reports and source reports for each person in the trees.

Created descendant reports for four generations of ancestors.

Created source reports for John and Sophia Balch, William and Elizabeth Baulch, George and Clara Baulch, Amos and Dorcas Gibson, Nicholas and Mary Stone, Nicholas and Elizabeth Stone, and Zachariah and Mary Brazier families.

November 2004:

January 2005:

February 2005:
